It is a massive blessing for me to be able to say that not one of my days look the same, I hardly have the same routine everyday. However I tend to keep the same structure.
Let’s start at the beginning, we start the day of with staff prayer, which is powerful because we are bless to have another opportunity to connect with our Heavenly Father and also we are growing up spiritually.
After prayer we normally have a quick team meeting just so that everyone is on the same page and tasks are assigned. Because I work in the media department I have set tasks that need to get done every week, for example audio has to be edited and moved to the correct storage locations.
For myself I try to keep a structure by completing my tasks on my to do list first thing in the morning and then chat to Matt, my team leader for what’s next. Often I spend time learning or developing my skills.
This sounds all serious and dull but the best part of my days are the people, the small and long chats in between work, chats at the coffee machine and lunch time fellowship are the best. Literally you can have a holy conversation at any moment.
How I would describe my typical day in the office would be probably by the relational aspect of it. There’s always a conversation ready to be had and the fellowship and collective greatness of the MiXtream team is absolutely amazing.
